Be a Beauty Winner

It’s not often in the beauty world that you get something for nothing ... so I have to tell you to try your luck in the Meg’s Make-Up Beauty Giveaway. All you have to do is sign up for the site – which gives some of the most honest, written by real women, beauty product reviews around. What’s more, if you win, Meg will post your goodies to anywhere in the world.

Get Sienna Miller's Look

Sienna Miller is so fashion forward she sets the trends that others follow, which is why only now a few months after the event are we all trying to copy the super sexy smudgy black eye and pale lip look that she wore to the Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala back in the summer. Well here’s the insider know how, courtesy of the lovely Bobbi Brown, who actually did her make-up for the event.

When Four Hands Are Better Than Two

I do not know why it has taken me so long to be seduced by Groom, the brilliantly clever quick fix beauty salon with a difference. You book an hour of time and get two therapists so you can choose from an array of treatments from brow threading and waxing, to mani pedi combos, make-up, massage and dermabrasion. I popped along to the Selfridges Groom, bumped into Dannii Minogue at reception, and emerged an hour later with immaculate toe and finger nails. The mani lasted six days and the pedi is growing out. Simply brilliant.

If You Love Mineral Make-Up..

…then I have discovered a great beauty site to visit courtesy of my fellow beauty blogger Karina XOXO (happy 21st birthday Karina). Karina recommends it, it’s called The Mineral Makeup Blog and it contains honest reviews of what’s new and wonderful in mineral make-up, including colour and coverage comparison.

Take It To The Max

Carmen ElectraDespite being a designer make-up addict I love Max Factor. They have great powders, fab mascaras, and easy to smudge eyeliners. But I HATE the packaging; it’s just not something any stylish woman would want to been seen with in their make-up bag. So I am very excited to tell you about Max Factor’s make-over.

Gossip, Glamour and Girl's Nights In

My good friend Jacqui Ripley is a bit of a superwoman really. A high profile health, fitness and beauty journalist and mum to Dylan aged 9, she manages to stay a size eight whilst eating cream doughnuts and has just written her fifth book … I know, I know, why I like her I am not quite sure.

The Ultimate Girl’s Night In is just that, a guide to the perfect girly get together with recipes for cocktails and desserts, dips and quick fix food, witty ideas for themed parties from Desperate Housewives, hen nights and baby showers, to simple DVD fests.

Pretty In Pink

You can’t failed to have noticed that the beauty world turns pink every October to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness and to raise much needed funds for charity.
It’s been fourteen years since Estee Lauder’s daughter in law Evelyn first thought of the idea of using pink ribbons and the beauty business to do this and to date over 55 million ribbons have been distributed raising over $100 million.
